In A Second....

In a second everything can change
the time you took a breathe was the time when actions took place.
When one heart start beating and one stopped
when one smile and one cried.
Did you ever think what can happen in a second?

A person can lend an ear
make a called.
A person can destroy another
A person can save another.
It all happens in a second.

In a second one person can change everything
a person can calm a storm
without knowing they are with a hug
or with one word
saving a person's life that second
can be more important than anything in the world.

A second that all it takes
because it can mean so much to one person
and if it does than it should mean to another person.

So always take a second
because you never know what it means
that's why time is a tricking thing
because how important a second can be.
Take a second to lend an ear
lend a shoulder to cry on
or words of advice.

You may say you can't save a life like a firefighter,
like a soldier, like a cop or like a doctor
but the truth is that you can
and to someone you can be their hero
their rock
it only takes that second.

Will you take that second?  
So much can happen in that second
