I'm no expert, but I have a theory...

A kiss shouldn't be...

A kiss shouldn't be the thing you hate the most.
A kiss shouldn't be meaningless.
A kiss shouldn't bring fear.
A kiss shouldn't follow a cheap pick up line that makes you lean in.
A kiss shouldn't bring doubts or a warning sign.
A kiss shouldn't make your heart want to run.
A kiss shouldn't stop your heart.
A kiss shouldn't make you look at the clock.
A kiss shouldn't be a nightmare.
A kiss shouldn't be...

A kiss should come like the wind.
A kiss should be on the spot.
A kiss should have no warning.
A kiss should feel right.
A kiss should be something you want to do.
A kiss should be sweet.
A kiss should have meaning to it.

A kiss should  take your breath away,
but allows you to breathe.
A kiss should be at the perfect moment,
to just happen...
A kiss should be a feeling.
A kiss should be something you love.
A kiss should bring happiness.

A kiss should make your heart race of joy.
A kiss should be passion.
A kiss should stop time.
A kiss should be a fairytale.

Well, that's my theory anyway.

Protective Angel

This angel is not what it looks like,
Her face isn’t perfect, theres nothing perfect about her.
Her job is simple, but the work is hard.
Help those in need,
is her duty,
never show when she is breaking.
So many come for help,
always asking,
she listens that was the power she was given.
“Listen, even if you dont have the answer,
I promise you just caring and listening will heed their doubts. Never fall, you must not fall”,
The father told her above the clouds.
This was her duty.
Came with no wings,
no halo,
wanted her to live among his childeren.
She took those under her wing that she met
along the way.
In her time she did fall,
she tried to hear his voice,
but it never came.
She looked for his warmth, but all there was a clodness.
She now lived in his shadow,
he turn away from her.
She called her brothers,
who were forbidden to answer, but always heard her cries.
They were bounded by the father,
to not even help in anyway.
Gaberial pledged,
Micheal didnt even bother,
all he did was stay by this sister,
but remaine silent.
She grew with hatered and confuse,
abonded by her world.
Another brother was lost in the skies
came crashing down.
He was what man is
put together by good and evil.
She found strength till his anger consume him.
Again she was alone.
She give up her cries and never understood
why this was her and why he turned away,
left her only with pain.
She is not an angel at all,
she guards herself,
but she keeps her duty,
help those, but learned to loved them as well.
She realize those that wouldn’t turn their backs
or run away from her were the ones that matter.
They protect her, if she allowed it
and
she would protect them.
Under her wing there will be safety.

The day that Angels were Made

Look at this old newspaper
it's apart of history.
An event that changed everything.
An even we will never forget.

It was a day
People went to work,
children went to school
and others walked the streets.
All with their future
Ahead of them.
Then it happen...

The plane dived
Into the tower.
We stare into the sky
taking it all in.
The giant began to fall
ashes filled the air.

People ran
from the destruction
while others ran
towards it.
Before anyone was safe
another plane,
another giant fell
from the sky.

Ashes everywhere
taking the oxygen.
How could anyone
be safe?
When brothers fall
side by side?

We'll always remember
cause that day took
more than twin brothers
and taught us our
mistakes.

When those people got on
those planes
did they tell their love ones
that they loved them?
Tell them that they
will talk to them soon?
Tell them they'll see them soon?
Did they panic?
Did they stand up?
Did they accept the worst?

Those who went to work
did they make plans
to meet for lunch?
Did they make dinner plans
with their love ones?
Did they tell their children
that they mean the world to them?
Tell their lover
Those three simple words?

No school was prepare
for anything like this.
No handbook,
nothing.
Those in range kept
them safe inside.
Those away to watched
and dismissed.
There was no play time.

Those that walked that day
to see the city.
Were they tourist?
Were they residents?
They wittiness the event
that will never be forgotten.

Was anyone in a fight
with those they love?
Were they mad
or happy?

Look at this old newspaper,
it's apart of history.
An event that changed everything.
An event we will

It took more than twin brothers.
It took fathers,
mothers,
sisters,
lovers
and peace.
It took heroes.
All angels
now watching over their love ones.

In & Out of the Portal

Around them the world is silent to them,
they are detached from it.
They don't know how.
They can see and hear the world,
they can even touch it,
and interact with it,
but something is separating them
from the world.

Its not a wall
more like a portal of some sort
that blends in making impossible to find
if you don't know where the door is.
No one can see them
even when they are standing right beside others.
Sometimes they don't know they entered it
and left the world,
in and out.

In the portal
they are numb,
lost feeling,
in a neutral state.
When everything is whatever
unchangeable, just in the middle.
They're walking
without warning they left
gone into the portal.
Walking side by side the world
when words become noise
only silence leaves their mouth
when they speak.

In, out of the portal
blends with the world
with the walls.
They are side by side
cant be seen.
In the portal
numb and coldest fills their blood.

Watch out,
maybe you'll see
where the entrance
sand take them out of the portal.
