Our World: The Comic Book World

People everywhere
people dress in costumes
as their favorite
hero or villain.
Wearing a shirt
with Spider-Man,
with Batman,
with the Joker,
with Superman's symbol
on them.
Going through boxes
of comics
old, but brand new.
Superheroes' names being
toss around
and the stories
that we remember the most.

You may call
us nerds, geeks, outcasts,
even odd.
Do you know what
you look to us?
You look odd,
out of place
like you took a
wrong turn.
But unlike you
we'll welcome you
with open arms.
You'll learn
that we have more fun
and cooler
than any of your friends
cause we're crazy
and odd.
We just lost care
and have no worries,
we all understand
each other.

This is our world
were we come together
once in a year.
There's more of us
that you'll ever imagine.
Trust me,
you're lucky we only
meet once in the year
in different states.
Yeah, that's right,
we're all
over the world.

You see some of my pictures
recognize some of the stars
and ask where I took them.
I laugh
cause believe it
or not,
they come visit us
once a year
in our world.

I told you
you call us
odd, freak, nerd,
geek, outcast,
but when you
enter our world
you're the one
that's odd, freak,
an outcast,
but we don't care.
We'll open our arms
with welcome
if you open
your mind.

Cause we're crazy
and odd,
lost care
what the world thinks
and no worries
cause we understand
each other.

We even have heroes
behind our backs
Hell, we even
have the villains
on our side.

Come on do you really
want to mess with us?
You should just join us.
Cause you can't
beat us.

you probably don't believe me.
I don't cause drama
runaway from it as quickly as possible.

don't ask ,e to take sides
cause I'll just turn up
the T.V. louder.

I won't be put in the
middle of a war,
good ever comes
from a battle
there's no winners,
no losers.

I don't understand the problem
the conflict you created,
maybe it's my logic.

you're yelling at friends,
you're yelling at me,
I didn't do anything.

Why you yelling at me?
I don't know maybe
I'm just too easy.

I have my set of rules
they're simple,
not that hard to understand.

You insult my love ones
threatening them,
making them bleed
right in front of me
you better run
and hope you never
cross my path again.

wild and crazy.
Let's do it.

You say let's go skydiving

Then you complain to me
why ain't I stopped you.

What's the harm
we only get to live once.

cause we're on this journey.

You get frustrated
on how easy I am.
I'm just easy
and I laugh
cause what you're saying
of all these choices
you have to make
when you wake up.

I put on a shirt,
put on a pair of pants,
quick brushing,
one pair of shoes.

ten minutes done.

You don't understand
is  not that I don't care.
I know what I like
and I lost care
of what the world thinks
cause this is me.

hold on tight.
Listen to the greats
one said,
"Its five o'clock somewhere."
The other said, " What the Hell is always
the answer to the
right decisions."
One said, " Live as if you'll die today.
Dream as you'll live forever."

True to of them died young,
but that doesn't make them wrong.
